The University of Bridgeport tasked us with reinvigorating its brand through a comprehensive advertising campaign. They wanted a concept to intimately illustrate the lifestyle of a UB student, as well as highlight the inviting, inclusive, supportive learning environment the University offers.
I developed the concept WE ARE UB, with the focus on WE to represent UB's supportive learning community which provides the tools, aid, and support to a diverse population of students. The tone is bold, welcoming, inviting, inclusive of all, and comforting (in knowing all the support UB offers). The reoccurring border line represents the path one can take from student to professional, and symbolizes an inclusive community. WE ARE UB can be filled in with headline copy that applies to a specific value proposition UB is offering, such as WE ARE "opening doors and building futures," "here for everyone," etc., making it a versatile messaging system whether speaking to prospective students, parents, corporate sponsors or alumni.
Below this concept is rolled out in the design of print ads, digital ads, billboards, a parent's guide, email newsletter, a corporate sponsor brochure, a landing page, and social media banners & images.
